Mitchell E. Abbott was the recipient of an award by the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), which publicly recognized Mitch at the annual California State Bar meeting at the opening lunch on September 23, 2010, immediately prior to Justice Anthony Kennedy's keynote address. This well-deserved honor resulted from Mitch's tireless contributions for over twenty-five years as an author of chapters in California Civil Appellate Practice, California Civil Writ Practice, California Administrative Mandamus, and California Civil Discovery Practice. In addition, CEB editors regularly consult with Mitch, tapping his expertise in developing various practice guides.
