Gena M. Stinnett is an associate in the
Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Ms. Stinnett
serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes and the City of Beverly Hills. She also serves as Assistant
City Attorney and Planning Commission attorney for the City of Monrovia.
Ms. Stinnett concentrates on the representation of public agencies
in a wide range of government law issues, and is Chair of the Firm's
E-Documents and Public Records Practice Group.
Ms. Stinnett has recently given presentations on the Public Records
Act to the Southern California City Clerks Association and California
Contract Cities Association. She has also lectured for the UCLA
Extension Public Policy Program.
Prior to joining RW&G, Ms. Stinnett was an associate in the
Los Angeles office of Sidley Austin LLP. Before becoming an attorney,
Ms. Stinnett worked in the broadcast industry.
