Julie A. Hamill is an associate in the Litigation Department at Richards, Watson, & Gershon. Ms. Hamill represents municipalities and public entities, as well as private sector clients, in both state and federal courts in litigation matters.
Ms. Hamill received her law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. During law school, Ms. Hamill clerked for the National Security Division of the United States Department of Justice. She also served as a senior staff member on the American University International Law Review, and as a Dean's Fellow in the Legal Rhetoric Department.
Before attending law school, Ms. Hamill worked as a legislative research assistant for the National Association of Counties in Washington, D.C., where she cultivated relationships among local government leaders and monitored legislative action on the Hill.
