Paula Gutierrez Baeza is a shareholder in the Litigation Department
and the Eminent Domain Practice Group at Richards, Watson &
Gershon. Ms. Baeza specializes in the area of eminent domain. Ms.
Baeza concentrates on representing our clients on acquisition-related
issues, including advising our clients on preacquisition issues,
assisting them with appraisal and negotiation issues, and preparing
purchase and sale agreements, rights of entry, title and escrow
documents. Ms. Baeza represents our clients in eminent domain proceedings
involving challenges to the public entity’s right to take,
precondemnation damage claims, severance damage claims, claims for
loss of business goodwill and valuation issues. Ms. Baeza also specializes
in civil and municipal litigation. She is admitted to practice in
California before the United States District Courts for the Central,
Eastern and Northern Districts of California, before the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
