Online AB1234 Ethics Training

Richards, Watson & Gershon is now offering AB 1234 ethics training fully online for California local officials. Conducted by shareholders Serita Young, Stephanie Cao, and Maricela Marroquín, the training includes a self-study quiz and certificate of completion.

AB 1234 requires that local public officials receive training in ethics no later than one year from the first day of service with a local agency. After the initial training, public officials must receive at least two hours of training in ethics laws every two years.

This training will cover all topics required by AB 1234, including the Brown Act, conflict of interest laws, and fair process requirements.
