Overview
Gaby Lion is an associate in the Litigation Department of Richards, Watson & Gershon’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on the representation of municipalities and public agencies in both state and federal courts in litigation matters.
Professional Experience
During law school, Gaby served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Ming W. Chin of the California Supreme Court. She also assisted in the prosecution of criminal cases as a law clerk at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. In addition, Gaby interned with the Public Finance & Real Estate teams at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office.
Prior to law school, Gaby completed a year of service with the AmeriCorps VISTA program at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, where she advocated for veteran clients facing denial of benefits, eviction, and consumer fraud issues. She also worked as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status).
