Water Rights and Water LawRW&G's water law lawyers have consistently been at the forefront of water issues throughout the State of California. Specifically, as to water rights matters, our lawyers have represented public entities in virtually all of the major groundwater adjudications in Southern California from 1970 to the present, including the Central Basin of Los Angeles County, Chino Basin, Cummings Basin, Mojave River Basin, Six Basins, Upper San Gabriel Valley, and the Antelope Valley and Santa Maria adjudications which are ongoing. The Water Rights and Water Law Practice Group have extensive civil trial and appellate experience that encompasses litigation in the state and federal courts, including the California Supreme Court. RW&G serves as Special Counsel or General Counsel to numerous water agencies, including California Domestic Water Company, Indian Wells Valley Water District, Marina Coast Water District, Mission Springs Water District, Natomas Central Mutual Water Company, Nipomo Community Services District, Walnut Valley Water District, the cities of Monterey and Pasadena, Trabuco Canyon Water District, Upland and West End Consolidated Water Company, and provides advice with regard to water issues to the firm's public entity clients.
