We seek candidates with experience drafting motions and discovery, attending court appearances, and taking depositions. RWG Eminent Domain attorneys work on complex and important issues affecting Californians today, including public works, mass transportation including light rail projects, infrastructure improvement, and grade separation projects. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills and a commitment to professional excellence. The salary range for this position is $135,500 – $148,500 and represents the Firm’s best estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, familiarity with relevant subject matters, litigation skill set, and business origination. Writs and Appeals Attorney
Richards, Watson & Gershon (“RWG”) invites candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience to apply for a position representing public agencies, primarily, as part of our Litigation Department. RWG is a 68 year-old law firm, and a leader in the practice of public agency law. We seek candidates with experience litigating writs and appeals or inverse condemnation matters, including regulatory takings. RWG litigators work on some of the most complex and important issues affecting Californians today, including housing, climate change, environmental laws, land use, government transparency, and constitutional rights. Labor and Employment Attorney

Experience representing public agencies, advising on benefits including CalPERS or other public health care and retirement systems, knowledge of Cal/OSHA and workers’ compensation laws, labor negotiation, and litigation experience are preferred. Public Law Attorney

Significant expertise in handling land use and CEQA matters and the ability to take the lead on complex land use projects is highly preferred. Real estate and other transactional expertise also will be considered favorably.
