Abigail Ellerman

Abigail is an associate in the Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Abigail advises local governments and other public agencies on a variety of municipal law issues.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Richards, Watson & Gershon, Abigail was a Senior Associate at KPMG, where she advised clients on tax and transactional matters. Her work included identifying legal and compliance risks, reviewing contractual provisions, and advising on organizational structuring.

During law school, Abigail worked with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel, where she researched and analyzed legal issues involving health policy, administrative law, and government operations. She also drafted procedural rules and supported agency attorneys on regulatory and litigation matters.
