Overview
Guido Toscano is a senior attorney in the Litigation Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. He represents public entities in business, employment, code compliance, and other litigation matters. His clients rely on him to provide sound legal advice, advocate strongly on their behalf and skillfully guide them through the litigation process. Guido draws on his broad professional and personal experiences to counsel for collaborative and creative solutions to his clients’ need, but, if necessary, is fully prepared to use dynamic strategies to achieve litigation goals.
Professional Experience
Guido has handled cases from inception through trial, including first- and second-chair trial victories in high-profile, multi-million dollar matters. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, administrative forums, evidentiary hearings, and both civil and criminal matters.
Guido spent the first decade of his career at two AmLaw 100 firms where he practiced business, entertainment, and trust litigation. He has advised on regulatory matters involving consumer products, advertising, and FTC/FDA compliance, including in connection with a regulatory investigation by the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Guido has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in data breach and consumer protection class actions.
Prior to law school, Guido studied classical piano and he continues to maintain a life-long passion for classical music. Outside of the office, Guido enjoys spending time with his wife and two children as they live in and explore beautiful Los Angeles.
